Klopeinersee / Carinthia / Austria – Guys I can tell you, I was so happy and excited too as I received the message, that I’m part of the first influencer camp that have ever been in carinthia. We all had soo much fun there, the other colleagues and influencer were so nice, we definitely had a great time. The camp was located in the beautiful south of carinthia, the region is called klopeinersee. There you can find a lot of outdoor and fun activities around the whole year like swimming, mountain biking, trail running, skiing, bungee jumping and much more. At the camp we spend four awesome days with a lot of activities and stunning things. Well, I wanna tell you all about it step by step in my travel diary 🙂
We started at a thursday afternoon in our hotel for the next days – the golf-tennis and wellnesshotel mori – which is located between two lakes, the klopeinersee and the kleinsee. The first program point was a visit in the walderlebniswelt (forest experience world) at the klopeiner see. this is an area, where you have around 20,000 square metres above the treetops, under the soil to let off steam. There you can jump, climb and balance, there’s a treetop trail with a 28 metre high observation tower and also some surprises and swings are waiting for you. After it, we had a lazy evening with a super yummy dinner at our hotel.
On Friday we wake up at 4 am to watch the beautiful sunrise at the kitzelberg. If you thought, that we walked at the mountain, you’re wrong: we drove with e-bikes to the top to watch this nature spektacle. After it, we had a super yummy breakfast there, before we went back to the valley. At forenoon we learned some first steps in golfing and we discovered the green fees there too, which the beautiful panorama. Part of the afternoon programm was also a bit stand up paddling at the warm klopeinersee. Did you know, that this lake ranks among the warmest bathing lakes in europe with his 28 degrees. Definitely one highlight was at the evening the bon jovi concert, which we visit with hirterbier and the kronezeitung. The show and performance was really awesome, I absolutely enjoyed the show.
The third day started with a yummy breakfast at our hotel. Strengthened, we drove to the petzen – this is a mountain close located to the border to slovenia. Arrived at this place, we tried out the flow country trail. Naturally, this area offers much more, in winter, there you can go skiing and it’s also perfect for hiking tours, climbing, wide-ranging leisure activities or also tandem flights. The lift takes you to the top of the mountain, where you’ve a stunning view of the jaun valley and the mountains of the southern carinthia. So as I mentioned, we tried out the trail, where we drove with bmx riders from the top down to the valley – it was such a cool experience, I can highly recommend it. After this workout, we had a great lunch at one of the unique almhütten, after that our next stop was the jauntal bridge. There you can try the bungee jumping with a 96 metre free fall. Guess, I didn’t try it out, but for the girls whose did, it was such a cool experience.
After this afternoon, filled with a lot of adrenalin, we had an awesome dinner at the restaurant mochoritsch in rückersdorf, which I can also highly recommend to you, if you’re in this region. Our last stop for this day was the print centre of the kronezeitung in st.andrä. It was also very interesting to see, how a newspaper is made and who it works – from the computer to the newspaper in my hand – we saw the whole procedure.
For our last day, some of us decided to stand up in the morning and watch the sunrise at the beautiful klopeiner see. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather, but it was also a empirical knowledge. Back at our hotel, it was time to pack my suitcases and went back home. But before, we made a stop at the hirter brewery in hirt, where we visit the whole brewery and had a great time there with a super yummy lunch. This was really the perfect completion of a stunning and awesome weekend, where we did so much great things, met nice people and I really had moments, which I’ll remember for a long time.
Thanks to Privatbrauerei Hirt, Kärntner Kronen Zeitung & Tourismusregion Klopeiner See – Südkärnten for having me there.
